Accepting these terms
These terms cover your use of this website and any work you hire Bedrock Victorville Concrete and Masonry to do. When we say "we" or "us," we mean Bedrock Victorville Concrete and Masonry and our crew. When we say "you," we mean the person using the site or hiring us.
By using this site, asking for a quote or booking a job, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. If a signed written contract for your job says something different from these terms, the contract wins for that job.
What we do
We're a masonry contractor in Victorville, CA, and we do concrete and masonry work for homes in Victorville and the cities around it. That includes brick, block, stone, pavers, retaining walls, chimneys, fireplaces, foundations and related repairs. You can see the full list of services on our home page and read more about us on our About page.
What's on this site is general information about our work and the trade. It isn't a quote, a promise about your house or professional advice for your situation. We can only tell you what your job needs after we've seen it in person.
Estimates and pricing
We give free quotes on site, and there's no pressure to book. A quote is based on what we can see and measure on the day we visit, along with the materials and the scope you and we agree on.
Masonry work sometimes turns up things nobody could see beforehand, like damaged block behind veneer, poor soil or old repairs that need to come out. If that happens, we'll stop, show you what we found and explain the cost before we do any extra work. We won't bill you for added work you haven't approved.
Quotes are good for the period written on them. After that, material and labor costs may change, so we may need to update the price before we schedule.
Scheduling and cancellation
We'll give you a start date when you book, and we'll do our best to keep it. Weather, material delays, permit timing and conditions on site can push a date, and when they do, we'll let you know as soon as we do and set a new one with you.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please call us at (760) 493-2913 as early as you can so we can plan our crew around it. If we've already ordered special materials or started work, you may owe for those materials and for the work done up to that point. Your written contract spells out any cancellation rights you have under California law, and those rights always apply.
Payment
The payment schedule for your job, including any deposit and progress payments, is set out in your written contract and kept within what California law allows for home improvement work. Final payment is due when the work is complete as described in the contract, unless the contract says otherwise.
If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's caught up. Unpaid balances may also give us lien rights on the property under California law, and we'd much rather settle any question with a phone call than go down that road.
Our work and warranty
We're fully licensed and insured, and we stand behind our work with satisfaction guaranteed on every job. If something about our work isn't right, call us and we'll come back out to look at it and make it right.
Any written warranty for your job is the one in your contract. Apart from that, and except where the law doesn't allow it, we don't make other promises about the work, whether stated or implied. Our warranty doesn't cover damage from things outside our control, like earthquakes, flooding, settling of soil we didn't prepare, vehicles, misuse, or later changes and repairs by someone else. Materials also carry their own makers' warranties, which we'll pass along to you.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect or follow-on losses, such as lost use of your property, lost income or costs that come from delays outside our control. Our total responsibility for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.
Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that California law doesn't let a business limit, such as for our own gross negligence or for injuries caused by our crew.
This website is provided as is. We try to keep it accurate and working, but we don't promise it will always be available or free of errors, and we aren't responsible for websites we link to that we don't run.
If we disagree
If you're unhappy with anything, please talk to us first, because most problems on a job get fixed quickest that way. You can reach us at (760) 493-2913 or through our Contact page, and we respond within 1 business day.
If we can't work it out between us within a reasonable time, we both agree to try mediation in good faith before going to court. If that doesn't settle it, either of us may bring the matter to a court in California that serves Victorville. You can also contact the state's contractor licensing board about any licensed contractor at any time.
Governing law
These terms, and any work we do for you, are governed by the laws of the State of California. If a court finds any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the current version will always be on this page. Changes apply to your use of the site from the day they're posted, but they won't change the terms of a contract you've already signed with us.
If you have questions about these terms, call us at (760) 493-2913 or send us a note through our Contact page.
